About us

The Dog Nanny was started April 1st, 1994. Our president has been pet sitting off and on since she was ten. After years of accounting, Lyn took the leap into the glamorous world of professional pet sitting and self-employment. It’s been a wonderful adventure. While the founding four-footer of the organization, The charming Sara Tonin, was promoted across the rainbow bridge in August of 1997, we have managed to carry on her good work.
